Verizon may be good to their employees, but they're horrible to their customers, especially in places without competition. Have a nice phone from Korea and want to use it on Verizon? Good luck, it won't happen without third-party help. Heck, have a phone from Amp'd and want to use it? You're on your own. And even then they might kick you off if they don't like your phone.
