Alright, this is just getting out of hand, is it not? We've completely lost count of the number of firmwares RIM has released for the
Storm 9500 and 9530 since the phones were launched, but perhaps the real question is, why has Verizon only released one? We suppose they're waiting for the goods to get solid enough, but this one's looking like a doozy: the media player no longer skips the beginnings of songs, inline JavaScript on web pages is once again working, and there appear to be small improvements to accelerometer performance and general system lag. You'll be looking at 4.7.0.106 if you're running a GSM 9500, and 103 for the 9530. Godspeed, upgraders.
God! i havent even got my and i seen all this crazy updates !!!!
gisss! why dnt they just release the one that fixes the gliches! come on poeple! i wrk for big red and i dnt get why are they laging
the updates?!?!?!
Ps........when's the BlackBerry appt store going to get lunch??????
are you slow? never post again, i think my vocabulary shrank after reading your message.
Maybe this is why VZW isn't releasing them. People like this are in charge of the process.
.83 has been almost flawless for me. I have no reason to update until the next official one, whenever that is.
Im running 4.7.0.99 and it is perfect on my phone, No glitches at all, and the phone only crashed once in the past 2 weeks, so im happy.
I installed .103. It's smoother and a bit faster than .99. I just hope it can reduce the battery pulls I do on a daily basis.
things they advertised originally, like stereo bluetooth, still arent working post .75 IIRC. that among other features would cause quite a debacle and also
app store is still planned to be launched this march.. but i guess we'll only know when the time comes.
For the record RIM didn't release all the OS's we've been seeing. They've been leaked by other sources. So I don't think we can say things have gotten out of hand seeing as how we never were meant to even see those leaks.
Are you kidding me? These updates are leaked purposely. Free beta testing for them, and yes they are being leaked from RIM. Where else would it be leaked from? HTC? Anyways....
