What's there to say about the
TG01? It's under ten millimeters thin, rocks a GPS and a 4.1-inch display, and with that 1GHz
Snapdragon chip under the proverbial hood, we're counting on some serious multimedia action. Now that we're gearing up for
MWC, ALK Technologies has just announced that it's making the
CoPilot Live GPS nav system available for the guy. The app promises full-featured turn-by-turn navigation and both 3D and 2D widescreen map views, and real-time services like traffic alerts, fuel price info, and weather conditions. Additionally, this bad boy supports safety camera alerts, with free database updates available for download directly to the phone. Specifics -- such as price and release date -- to be announced.
Any word on G1 cupcakes?
ODOYLE RULES!
Exactly the same CoPilot app has been available for HTC touch HD and touch pro and diamond since day 1.
It is very good.
I use it on my HTC touch HD and I payed less than 70 euros for it.
It has all but taken the place of my Garmin GPS device making it totally redundant just like other apps on my smartphones made redundant PMPs, point and shoot cameras, pocket calculators, etc , etc.
On my Samsung Omnia I use Route66 which is just as good. Actually, come to think of it , tonight I'll put my Garmin GPS thing on eBay.
the app is cool but i would not want to go to camp crystal lake there is a guy there that hacks folks up named jason.. friday the 14th lives everywhere.............
my error Friday the 13th not 14th.
