BlackBerry Connect support comes to smattering of HTC devices
Looking for a bit of BlackBerry love on your new (or old, as the case may be) HTC handset? Fret not -- so long as you're the proud owner of an HTC TyTN II, Touch Diamond, Touch Pro or Touch HD -- as your phone has just picked up BlackBerry Connect support. The read link directs you to a download where you can suck down the necessary bits and bytes and proceed to installation, but we'd make sure everything was backed up before forging ahead. Give it a go and report back, will ya?[Via phonescoop]

I have been using BB Connect for some time on my TyTNII, not sure why HTC is just now calling this news. Oddly I put in my serial number and it says it is not sutible with this device.
What's with the old WinMo Standard screen used for the post?
beats me, none of the aforementioned devices use win mo standard. but this definitely isn't news. bb connect has been available for a number of htc devices for quite some time. just another case of everyone else being behind the xda-devs curve.
Yeah my Touch Pro came with it. Ironically, I have been trying to figure out a way to uninstall it. I don't want scum on my device.
Charged our company 5 figures to get the SERVER to make our exchange server "compatible" with blackberry, fills users inboxes with "spam" mail, and charges users $30 a month (AT&T anyway) to "pass the data through blackberry's servers". Or, you could use any standard program on a Symbian, WinMo, or (I'm guessing) Android device to connect flawlessly with MS Exchange. I call shenanigans, because blackberry is crap.
Well aren't you guys soooooo special. There's a difference between something being made available and something with a hack out there that you can get if you jump through hoops.
I would hazard a guess that it's now being made available to everyone, not just people who know what they're doing.
