My inside sources at verizon tell me that this may be the reason the Omnia is dropping price, or it could be the T*Omnia. This will run symbian OS (Omnia HD)
I highly doubt that. While this device carries the "Omnia" name, it is clearly not a successor to the phone we all know as the Omnia. It seems as though "Omnia" is a sub-brand for multiple devices (similar to the Cyber-shot brand, etc) and does not mean because Carrier A has the Omnia, that they'll be carrying the Omnia HD or Omnia SD or Omnia XD or whatever future devices are unveiled.
Furthermore, this device is not consistent with current Verizon hardware logic.
the T*Omnia is the true successor to the Omnia we have here. This Omnia, like previous commenter said, is most likely just a brand name to keep consumers over here less confused...
5.1 sound? orly?
nice
Sprint would be wize to make a bid for this phone. Along with the new Blackberry they would be able to compete with the att, iphone and other networks.
