I personally still use my old Hiptop2 on T-Mobile as of late...my HTC Wizard finally gave up the ghost and stopped charging(charging port came unsoldered), so I went back to my old standby that is the SunCom Hiptop2, and I am now thinking about getting a Sidekick 2008 or 2009 so that I can have data again!

Christian Walters

Comments on Canada's Fido deep-sixes Hiptop service

Why do you guys keep mentioning Rogers as an alternative to Fido? The service itself, the syncing etc.. is of value, because that IS what MS bought. The hardware needs to come along, or else it will be obscolete in no time, if not already.

Since there is no high-speed Sidekick option yet.. all other handsets will more than likely be discontinued. if the LX 09 is real, perhaps that will save danger/sharpe, etc.

SPOKE
