Sidekick 2009 caught strutting its stuff in the wild
We still don't know whether to call it the Sidekick 2009 or the Sidekick Blade, but either way, T-Mobile's upcoming hiptop has finally been caught on camera, looking just as it did in a survey from last month and later via render. Unfortunately, we can't glean any specs from the image, but the aforementioned questionnaire listed 3G, a 3.2-inch WVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, and GPS with turn-by-turn navigation. Alright, Danger, you've made us believers -- now give us some official press shots to gaze upon lovingly.

I like the lx design a lot more......
Uhh..it says 3G at the top by the signal meter.
It's about time a Sidekick gets somewhat of a modern update.
Jesus christ this thing is ugly.
But hey, at least it has 3G.
I had a sidekick id and I really liked it minus all of the missig features. I have an iPhone 3G right now and it's great except for the no multitasking, expensive bill, and bad on screen keyboard. I like the keyboard horizontally but otherwise it is just horrible and if I text too fast it freezes so I m switching to this sidekick or the sidekick '08 as soon as it comes out and I test it. by the way I posted this from my iPhone and I had to fix like 10 mistakes. :(
yeah..I prefer the horizontal keyboard also... I would gladly switch back to SK from my Nokia E71(just to cramped).... im hoping this makes its way to the UK
isnt the logo upside down? surely you´d hold it with the pointer, call and end call buttons as the bottom end of the phone when held in portrait. or is that fugly speaker a 4-way button and that white blob a concentrated radiation emitter right where you put your ear?
the screen rotates open instead of sliding, so in the closed position, the logo is correctly oriented.
