Pantech's Matrix PRO slides two ways onto AT&T
This thing's been on quite a journey from concept to production, but here we are -- finally, a true successor to Pantech's quirky Duo on AT&T. The Matrix PRO features HSDPA (up from UMTS), integrated GPS with AT&T Navigator, Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel cam, Video Share support, and Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, but the real draw lies in the device's pair of sliders -- one for QWERTY, one for digits. At nearly 23mm thick, it's not the thinnest smartphone in the world -- that honor supposedly belongs to the Nokia E55 -- but where else are you going to get this many buttons on a single device? Pricing and availability are forthcoming.

clon Helio Ocean?
almost 23mm thick? as in, thicker than the current duo and matrix? I looked up the dimensions online compared to the duo and matrix, and it's taller and wider as well, which would be an excuse if the screen were any bigger, but it looks to be the same size, as does the battery. At least it has twice the ram/rom and the processor is up to 528 from 416 mhz, and it's got WM6.1... seriously though, let's pray for tapered edges... that propel pro is looking nice right about now.
this phone looks like a malnourished helio ocean. Win Mo is just horrible why does it still exist who buys phones with Win Mo on it? i guess people who like having their phones freeze & lag constantly... oh well to each his own.
Tried a WinMo Standard phone lately? I've yet to have a freeze (outside of playing with beta apps) on my last three WinMo Standard edition phones. Everytime I see someone post about how horrible WM phones are, I always scratch my head. Either people are referring to WM Professional edition (which I avoid), haven't used a WM Standard phone in ages, had terrible luck, or I have had incredible luck over the last several years. Regardless, this phone looks better than the original, but has nothing on the Samsung Propel Pro which I will purchase the day it drops.
That phone is fugly, makes my Ocean 2 look like a work of art
Have one and really like it! Love the dual-slider feature. Phone works like a champ and have never had any issues with it.
