The black looks very nice but they got rid of that nice shine on the back. So there's no lens cover in the new one? How is that an upgrade?

I read somewhere else that the lens cover was automatic is that true and that the Ui received minor updates like showing the entire area to be photographed on he phone screen as opposed to only showing a cropped image.
