I AM happy the Andriod Marketplace is taking off though. Andriod is an exceptional platform, and only good things can be coming down the pipe.
Odd. . .my Aviator Watch says FREE and I don't have paid apps showing otherwise. I have RC33.
Yeah, I'm calling this fake. All the apps listed on that screenshot show up as free for me...

Military Madness FTW! Not a bad port of the Turbografx classic. Guitar Hero Mobile is a little pricey at $9.99.
The paid apps aren't available for everyone yet... I have them, but my co-worker doesn't. He looked it up online and found out that its rolling out in waves kind of like a beta.
Still no joy in NJ. Can we get a description from someone who has them? Are there free and paid categories or all mixed together, etc.? Did they just appear or was there some notification? Did it require reboot as the article implies?
Got it now. No filter for paid/unpaid. Messy is my first thought. Might buy DoggCatcher, but inconsistent playback of video still an issue. I'll probably stick with my yellowsn0wed iPhone until TMo gives me some Cupcake.
I just started seeing the paid apps... odd, my 2G has been flaky all morning so I did reboot for that, but the network was still unavailable and the apps were still all free.
Once the network came back up 15 minutes ago I looked in the store and I see prices. I didn't get any update prompts it just happened.

Is anyone else having email update issues? For the last week or so my G1 has stopped receiving emails automatically, even though it is set to sync just like it has always been. I have to manually refresh gmail to receive new mail. I've tried rebooting but still no luck.
As for the Market I guess I have not received the update, everything is still listed as free for me too.
I got a strange message yesterday that I couldn't login with my Google Apps account and that I needed to login with a gmail account. I don't know if this might be related or not. Specifically it said I needed gmail for Maps and I am still getting my google apps account email. Not really sure what the deal is there.
As for the Market having paid apps, I'm running JF 1.4 version of RC33 on my ADP1, and I have paid apps as of today. I haven't really poured over all the new apps yet.
miro, did you actually try gBurp... it is actually pretty cool. You can e-mail them to your friends, LOL. You can even record your own burps and e-mail them to your friends. To funny!
