Rogers Wireless' own UR magazine outs Sony Ericsson C905?

So either Rogers' UR magazine is writing the Sony Ericsson C905 up, or, the multi-megapixel monster is on its way to the shops. Of course, a leaked slide show from early December shows this set -- and piles of other greatness -- coming to Rogers this year, so I tend to agree with MobileSyrup that this one is legit. Pricing is rumored to be set at the $299 on a three-year deal and the release date is shakily pegged at Q2 2009. So hurry up already Rogers, we've seen it, the specs, taken pics, and now we're only left with the owning part.

I received this magazine that long ago.
Has Engadget Mobile been subdued to using old headliners now?
They were spot on with Barcelona and MWC (for they team was there), however for something on a slightly small scale, they lag behind?
Logically that makes no sense, and as a subscriber from Canada, I feel like I'm being given the last crummy ladle of soup from the bottom of the burnt pot.
I mean, less than a week's delay is understandable (tip reviewing and authorization of it's validity included), however, any longer and it seems out of line (if it happens repetitively, and it has*).
*Telus's Touch Pro was announced internally and dummies handed out by late September/early October, whereas Engadget Mobile reported it close to a month later.
Sony-Ericsson is one of, if not the only company that would make me consider buying a dumbphone. I'd be inclined to grab one of these up but the Nokia N86 is coming so I can hold onto my N95 for a few more months.

This is Rogers Wireless's official magazine, so it's as official as official gets beyond the phone actually being in the stores. I think they had the Bold and/or Pearl Flip in it as well before they were launched. I don't think they do a feature of an upcoming phone unless it's definite that it's coming. So we can expect the SE C905 very soon.

SE C905 is such a P.O.S! no hard feelings, my fellow rogers' users. all of you should checkout the eforums from UK operators. vodafone, orange, t-mobile, o2 are all complaining about the dreaded earpiece quality. the earpiece speakers simply dies on you 2 weeks after purchase. for people who's waiting for c905, wait until a new revision surfaces, 1st generation fones are for lab rats to test them out first. =D
Or wait for the Japanese version to be unlocked- the S001.
