this is the most ugly cell phone i've ever seen....
look at the blue tooth LED on the left, why can't it built into the GUI ?
the QWERTY keyboard is too small for human being....i think it is made for aliens....
While I agree with you that the phone is ugly, it's cheaper and takes less battery power to use an LED instead of a GUI for Bluetooth. Also, name for me one phone today (touchscreen or real QWERTY keyboard) that isn't too small for all but young children's hands??? If the buttons were to truly be big enough for most of us, then the phones would be easily about 6 to 8 inches long, and a solid 4-6 inches wide. Last I checked, most phones are no longer than 6 inches, and no wider than 3 inches at most. So, small formfactor dictates ultra-small keys.
Personally, I wouldn't even consider this as a true iDEN option. The i9 Stature (aka Cabo) could have been a great phone had Motorola been allowed to at least add WiFi to it, but Sprint nixed that idea (WiMAX would have been even better). Ah well...looks like Nextel will continue to be treated as a 2nd class, rejected step-child by Sprint proper. And yet the company continues to wonder why they lose so many subscribers quarter after quarter.
