Why do some stores claim to have it and the Samsung Omnia HD?

Are they just fake stores or scams?

Im sure that once the handset comes out the price will be far more sensible. Expansys isnt the best prices out there for unlocked handsets.
I have personally put in a pre order with Play.com which is at 649 uk pounds. Its all guestimate prices at the moment but suspect that we will see a "real" price as the release date gets closer.
