I believe there will be one TD-SCDMA network, China Mobile who seem to have about 600 million subscribers, but does that include the fact everyone has a SIM for every metro area we visit because the rates suck otherwise? X'ian SIM, Beijing SIM, Chengdu SIM. Annoying!

I expect one CDMA/EVDO network and one GSM/HSPA network, when the shakeup is complete. It may take some time for Unicom and Netcom to finish merging.
