Samsung Instinct Mini spotted by Mr. Blurrycam
Samsung may be cranking out all manner of new TouchWiz phones and Sprint might be Pre-occupied*, but nothing can stop the Instinct... from getting smaller. Yep, images of what's claimed to be an Instinct Mini have popped up on the SprintUsers forum, and while there are no hard details available, we're guessing Boy Genius Report's April 19th date is close -- we just saw a handset labeled SPH-M810 hit the FCC, and the original Instinct is the SPH-M800. Next up: Instinct Nano rumors. More photos at the read link!

Looks like a slicker design. The original instinct looks somewhat dated.
I have seen the phone in use and it pretty pretty sweet looking! I am not sure about the interface part but a nice rounded shell design IMO!
Screen real estate looks wider, too.
Very happy with my Instinct. Glad they'll keep the model evolving.
I own the regular Instinct...
This is the same crap in a smaller, nicer looking case...
So will this be sold alongside the Instinct or will it replace it?
In all honesty, while I'm sure it's a nice phone, I've never gotten myself to like the Instinct. I keep playing with other people's Instincts, but idk, something just doesn't click.
You should buy a Storm then.
Got to handle one of these a while back--very comfy form factor and in the brief experience I had seemed slightly more intuitive than it's precursor. But I agree with carcomptoy--the Instinct never "clicked" with me either.
It will come in a GRAPHITE color and BROZE...rumors of a 3rd in white. It will phase out the orginal instinct, and will be the bridge to the ANDROID Instinct set to launch Fall 2009. $99 after 2 year contract. Dont forget..the instinct is still by far the best selling phone Best Buy or Sprint have ever sold. Over 2.6 million instincts sold nationwide.
Pardon me, as I vomit disappointment all over the screen. Sprint deserves better than this. I *do* hope Samsung does better this round, than they did the last. While software updates seem to have fixed most of the outstanding issues, I doubt they've brought any *real* changes to the interface (customization outside of the favorites screen and sleep wallpaper), or built-in calendar syncing.
Who knows. It could be too early to make assumptions. Please don't disappoint us, Samsung.
What other non-smartphone has calendar syncing? I don't hear people holding this against the Dare...maybe I'm just not looking in the right spots.
The Instinct is a great phone for a lot of people, it has done its job.
This is said to be DOr0, how can it replace the Instinct?
