As expected, LG has graced our Canadian friends on Rogers with the Neon messaging phone for a decidedly easy-to-swallow $29.99 CAD (about $23) on contract after rebate. Your hard-earned $30 is gonna buy you a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen, 2 megapixel cam, media player with FM radio, microSD expansion, stereo Bluetooth, and a triband EDGE that'll be good enough to let you take the phone most of the way around the world -- as long as you're not expecting high-speed data anywhere. The commercial for this is just terrible, like all of Rogers' commercials. I wish a plane would fall out of the sky and land on those stupid kids. And then, as a way to help us "cope" the company starts selling data plans at prices comparable to those in the US. *sigh* I can dream, right?

Its been released in Australia for months...just named WebSlider on Boost Mobile (Optus) over here and its the crappest phone ever...its stuffs up and has the worst OS...seriously save your money and don't buy one

everytime i make a call with this phone i cant hear it rining, then the person im calling is SCREAMING in my ear saying HELLO HELLO? cuz it doesnt go through? i barely even know im CALLING someone nevermind that they PICKED UP! then when i deletemy inbox or outbox the WHOLE THING SHUTS OFF & FREEZES!

This is an absolutely TERRIBLE phone. Whatever you do - do NOT opt for this phone!
I have had two malfunction on me in 1 1/2 months.....and how lovely...but Rogers will not
offer me a different model, because I brought the SECOND one back in 31 days...not in 30
days! What wonderful service. Unfortunately I have a 3 year contract with this piece of
crap!
