Because it's too hard to either carry two sim cards or two phones?
I'd imagine an ideal solution would be a phone setup that would allow text-only on one sim while out of country, while the other one would allow all functions.
That would be nice. China Mobile gives me free incoming and local outgoing texting rates while int'l roaming (suck on that, AT&T users) so that would be my text SIM with a local SIM for actual talking.
