You're running out of clever remarks to describe it with ("Not sure why you'd want it, but we're sure it will find its place in the carrier's lineup", etc).

Seriously, smartphones aren't for everyone, and there is still a surprisingly large percentage of the market that is just interested in a simple phone that will primarily make calls and won't confuse them (Many members of my family, for example, hate my smartphones, and would never dream of owning one even when I offered for free). But here's a little hint for you guys: Those people also aren't the type who'd be browsing your site for tech in the first place.

There will always be a market for these handsets. And as long as there is a market for it, they will continue to be boring. Why even waste a post just to tell us its not interesting? If there were something cool/different, such as having a 12mpixel camera, or a WVGA display, I would understand... even the new slim-style Motorola handsets on NexTel were an interesting announcement- shows that they haven't given up the PTT iDen family completely. But phones like this one? I can almost guarantee that your readers aren't coming here to read about the next same 'ol handset.

Just my 2 cents.

Mobile Enthusiast
