The purpose of this is not good unless you have unlimited service. The people that will buy this are those who have heavy data usage. Now, there's gonna be multiple people using service with a 5 gb limit. I smell litigation. VZW and AT&T already charge a unlawful amount for overage ($0.49 / MB). That amounts to $501.76 a gigabyte. Why don't they just charge the same amount for the first 5 GB?? I have always had customer come in with bills in excess of $1000..verizon just credits and the customer cancels. I wish all the data card users would band together and get a lawyer involved to light a fire under their butts to make a change. The best way is to go to verizonwirelesssurvey.com and give them a 0 (zero). That is the only way verizon changes policy.

vzw rep

Comments on Verizon MiFi 2200 EV-DO hotspot leaks out, will sell like Canadian bananas

Sorry, Engadget, but Canadian bananas are 1xRTT only.

(Disclaimer: I live near the Canadian boarder, get called a Canadian from people elsewhere, and we only get 1xRTT.)

Dakota

Comments on Verizon MiFi 2200 EV-DO hotspot leaks out, will sell like Canadian bananas

Everyone knows that Canadian bananas are the best north of the Arctic Circle - they should be respected!
