Rumor mill says Sony Ericsson Idou might be coming this October

It's all a tiny bit hazy, but it sounds like a Sony Ericsson PR rep in Germany has confirmed that the 12 megapixel camera-boasting Idou will be hitting the streets in October. Gustaf Brusewitz of Sony Ericsson Sweden didn't have too much to say about that statement, and only repeated what he'd said in the past -- that the Idou will be shipping "sometime in the second half of the year." Come on Gustaf, throw us hint!

i see another xperia mess. sony needs to stay away from their phones leaking out 6-7 months before they are ready to release it.
has xperia even been released in the u.s. yet?
they cant push out a phone with a proper timeframe. they announce it or it leaks out its not ready and by the time its finally ready its obsolete.
The xperia has been released in the US for a while now buddy.
doesnt change the factthat it was delayed so long it was obsolete when it came out

hopefully SE learned their lesson with the disaster the X1 is/was....and hopefully this time they get a carrier to back it (att? tmobile?)....nobody is gonna buy a $800 phone nowadays when you can get a pre, iphone2, or storm2 for $200.
