Keepin' it real fake, part CXCVIII: TAG Heuer Meridiist gets way-too-low MSRP
You know how we know this here TAG Heuer Meridiist isn't the real deal? Not because it isn't sexy, and not because we don't really, really want to believe. No -- it's because the authentic handset can't be found for under five or six grand, while this little impostor can be had for the unfathomably low price of just $290. So yeah, you'll miss out on the fancy box and veritable bragging rights, but you will get twin SIM slots and a choice of black or red "leather." You know, come to think of it, maybe we would be willing to deal with a fake in order to save a few mortgage payments...

The KIRFs on that website have to be amongst the best I have ever seen. Then again you do wonder whether they are using genuine TAG Heuer/ Vertu handsets for the photos.
According to the FAQ:
"The phones are 99% like their original prototypes. They feel, look and even weight the same. The firmware is CECT based and not original, but offers the same features of the original firmware and even more!"
And they also offer that great knock off quality! people should buy the real deal stop faking that you have money to blow on these luxury phones.
hello engadget
This phone has POSER written all over it. I love the TH Meridiist. Not because it's sexy, not because everyone else wants one, but because I can affort it. And it goes nice with my Aquaracer watch and TH Trends 7201 glasses.
Can't wait to pick mine up at a store near you.
