T-Mobile-branded HTC Touch Pro2 appears in the wild
It's really no secret that the Touch Pro2 is destined to arrive in the States on T-Mobile, but this is the first time we've seen the T-Mo edition not, uh, drippings with goo. And yes, that's a US-spec keyboard and the "fewer dots" US T-Mobile logo, so this looks like the real thing -- hopefully that means a launch is imminent. Hit the read link for a bunch more shots.

My god, what a kick in the crotch.
Verizon (my carrier), you suck!... T-Mobile, nice one.
Even if it never makes it to the other carriers (which I'm sure it will) The TMobile version can surely be unlocked for all us greedy AT&T folk
Wow....that looks sweet. I was a longtime winmo user, and have since been through the iphone and G1 craze. This phone may actually make me look at winmo again. Very nice, I can't wait to see one. Luckily, my wife works for tmo, so I might be able to check one out before the masses.
It almost looks ALL black in the pictures, but it could just be the lighting. I would LOVE all black. Silver is kinda ugly imo.
I've got the first one, from Verizon and desperately want the new one. Mine is not nearly powerful or responsive enough.
im not sure if this will be much more powerful/responsive than the Touch Pro since this has the same processor.
That's not a myFaves icon above the T-Mobile logo. If you look at the enlarged photo from http://d474rpr.com/?cat=39 website, it looks more like a front-facing camera. That's if you can get on the website. They either pulled the article or the website just crashed.
thats the the same phone from the dripping photo one just cleaned
This picture is OLD! like a month old! 5 first saw it on BGR, and this one is for Tmo Germany.
Cris Obviously you didn't check out the rest of the Photo's on the LInks and their descriptions from the bloggers.
There are NO European symbols on the keys, its a USA Keyboard. Also the T-Mobile logo at the top is the USA logo not Europe's.
This IS the US version of T-Mobile's Touch PRo2, maybe you should research a little bit before you jump to the Troll Post dawg.
Cannot wait for Confirmation of UMA on this tho!!!
Wrong keyboard for Germany.
why would a great phone like this go to TMobile? I really wanted this phone, but i refuse to go back to tmobile.
Sexy as hell. Now...to decide between this, TD2, Omnia HD or N97...it's a shame that the Pre won't be GSM right away. I need a phone that I can use overseas.
Um.. Welcome to 3 weeks ago. This photo has circulated the interwebs for the better part of the month.
@Cris. It isn't a T-Mobile Germany unit. They're phones are all QWERTZ keyboards. As you can clearly see, it is a QWERTY.
Hmmm, I see what you're saying (the pocketnow link in the story still works).
It could be a possibility. I'd think that T-mobile would have an easier time implementing that just because they've probably got less traffic overall and could handle the extra data. It would be a big feather in their cap if they're the first to have something like that in the US.
please tell me this is coming to AT&T too!!
This picture came from the future!
Look at the date!
Feb 26, 2009 is the future?
Sounds more like you are posting from the past ;)
THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!! This phone BETTER come to AT&T, they had the Touch Pro first and now the second one that is WAAAAAYYYYY better goes to shitty T-Mobile.
@ kevin & tmcb: Snatch your heads from Ralph De La Vega's ass! T-Mobile will have this in their hands well before AT&T thinks about offering it. Deal with it!
WOw Jason you sound like SUCH Fascist IGnorant Fool.
You should keep going with that, its working really well for you.
; )
so if there is a touch pro 2 hittin the market soon does that mean they will make a fuze 2? Because I have AT&T and im not switching any time soon because im still on my parents plan and I dont have the money on my college budget to get my own plan. Does any one know if a Fuze 2 is imenant??
Don't worry, ATT is going to be getting the TP2 also. Its just that T-Mobile will be getting it first.
Not sure if they'd want to call it the Fuze 2 but it would make sense if they did.
