Palm Pre spotted in the wild, possibly running YouTube

It's not clear exactly where these pics came from, but here's the Palm Pre, running what appears to be a YouTube app and the email app. We're of two minds on these: there's no doubt there are devices in the wild, so these shots could be totally real, but something about them just feels off -- that "Search All Videos" font seems way more Sprint than Palm, for example. Here's hoping we find out what's what real soon. One more shot after the break.

I still dont see what all the excitement is over the Pre. Honestly its just a slider with a touch screen. There are far better devices out there that i would rather have my hands on.

dude stop being so close minded. there is more to it then just what it looks like. the OS looks amazing. have u watched any video on it? just YouTube it or go the Pre The Full Story page on here and u will see why people are excited for it. i really dont see how u couldnt be excited for it really with all it does and how it does it.

Is that a Mac Book in the background of the first pic? and several other Apple accesories in the second pic. Could be Apple testing out the Pre and being blown away with it! ha ha...imagine..

Can't wait for the phone to come it looks like we might hear a release date soon. Some sprint employees have been saying May 17th don't know if its true though

"Running" YouTube? Isn't that just the mobile YouTube website? Looks like it to me.

At the top there's a button with a little arrow clearly showing there is a draw down menu, and that its an app, not just a link in the browser.
