The nokia N97 will probably be a little more exspensive in the long hall because HTC usually brings down its prices fairly quick. Now for the pros and cons of the phones, well more so just the different pros. The touch pro has a slightly bigger screen and is also much clearer than nokias, even though nokia also puts other phones like the iphones screen to shame so it doesnt mean its terrible just not as good. Also Nokia makes all of its phones use nokia music which is really annoying in my mind unless they have changed it recently. Where as HTC is compatible with media player and itunes. The major bonus in my mind though is the nokia memory, I dont think the touch pro memory is official but the specs for the N97 say that it has 64 G, I dont care how you look at it thats a ton of memory and I highly odubt the touch pro wil have that much. Besides that every thing else is fairly similar. Both have very nice keyboards and screens that can tilt up, I am unsure if you HAVE to tilt the screen up or not in order for it to stay, also I am currently leaning toward N97 just because I have AT&T and would rather buy the N97 unlocked then the t-pro unlocked. Now if they come out with a Fuze 2 (also known as touch pro2) for AT&T then I will buy it up in a heart beat on contract. We shall see though what Q2 and Q3 of this year hold, if I may be so bold I would put money on the fact that some other really nice phones are around the corner because of all the companies trying to scoop up customers in this recession.

preolt

Comments on HTC Touch Pro2 gets thoroughly handled overseas

EXcellent!!!

I'll be one of the First people with the T-Mobile Version.

Galen20K

Comments on HTC Touch Pro2 gets thoroughly handled overseas

T-Mobile is finally getting some good looking phones.

Wiggindude

Comments on HTC Touch Pro2 gets thoroughly handled overseas

no thank you tmobile and att, i would not like to extend my contract, i'll just take the unlocked tp2 instead.

dustin

Comments on HTC Touch Pro2 gets thoroughly handled overseas

Kudos for the rounded corners and for putting the "M" key back in its proper place!

Crabby

Comments on HTC Touch Pro2 gets thoroughly handled overseas

Of all the worldwide variants of the Touch Pro, only the Verizon Wireless Touch Pro had the oddly-placed M key. And better performance. And a headphone jack. Seriously, HTC can do a lot better- they've been recycling the same hardware each time, only upgrading the screen (Kaiser and Raphael and now this). Now that the screen seems to be the right size/resolution, they can concentrate on the hardware underneath... Apache worked, since they used the Widcomm stack, but Titan didn't because they started using the Microsoft stack. Either fix the damn Microsoft stack or go back to the Widcomm stack. A $32,000 car and a $500+ phone should work together without fail, so it's total BS that the 6800/Fuze/Touch Pro/Tilt don't. I'm not even blaming HTC either, it's all Microsoft, and pretty much any device running WM6.1. Hell, the Omnia didn't even work. Garbled or no audio, person on the other end can't hear you at all, etc.

ckeegan

Comments on HTC Touch Pro2 gets thoroughly handled overseas

please Please PLEASE...
