Nothing very rock solid here about anything shown. As far as OS capabilities, I use WM and my wife uses an iPhone, so I get to play with both. As far as ease of use, the iPhone has it, but it should, it doesn't do much. WM has a lot more capability, IMHO, and that contributes to it's somewhat shakier stability, and responsiveness. MS doesn't have the draconian hold over what users do with their devices and what developers spawn, that Apple does. Don't think that will change with iPhone v3. You'll get to do a few more things that I've been doing for years. In any case, if the rumor of a Pink, whatever that is, is true, I'm looking forward to it. I already like her music anyway.

Sven Johannsen

Comments on Microsoft's "Pink" smartphone could rival iPhone on Verizon

"Could" is a mighty big word when the product in question is so vaporous.

Justin

Comments on Microsoft's "Pink" smartphone could rival iPhone on Verizon

What the hell is "425"?????

Craig

Comments on Microsoft's "Pink" smartphone could rival iPhone on Verizon

That's the area code for Seattle, WA :)

Darren Moffatt

Comments on Microsoft's "Pink" smartphone could rival iPhone on Verizon

according to insiders at VzW in prod dev there is slippage & much disappointment over the PINK.. A mere FOUR years? That's a lifetime to you? How old are you, like 10? Umm, here's a clue: eventually EVERY company and top selling item gets overtaken. Just ask GM, Xerox, Seiko, IBM, Standard Oil, etc. about how they could never be dethroned. Shit even your precious Apple used to own 100% of the personal computer market at one point. And one day, the iFone and EyePod will be dethroned.
