Samsung's I7500 Android phone shreds in first hands-on video
We know what you're thinking: you'd love to see some video of Samsung's very first Android device -- the I7500 -- but you don't want to watch it unless the soundtrack for the clip is foreign hair metal. Well, we aim to please at Engadget, so without further ado, we present this totally bitchin' flick of the phone in action, replete with the rockingest shred-fest this side of... wherever this band is from. Enjoy!
Update: Annoyingly, the video has been made private. We're working on it.
Update 2: The video is up again -- sans totally rocking soundtrack. Thanks ttlj!

Finally a decent looking android phone! I love HTCs Windows Mobile phones but their Andriod phones are just hideous.
hopefully the "1700/2100" will be band IV
for $400 tag, it's pretty decent as non-branded phone
Links don't work anymore. site or video.
Well this video works great. "This is a private video. If you have been sent this video, please make sure you accept the sender's friend request."
Odd.....? I think he "touched" that "touch screen" twice. Why use the D pad toggle?
I was thinking the same thing. Was beginning to wonder if it had touchscreen capabilities.
Wow finally a good Android fone! WTF y is he using the d-pad so much and not showing off the touch screen??? any body else notice that?
I think the Phone looks really Nice except for one part, that 4 way Directional Pad just irks me for some Reason and I dont know why. Maybe its because I've used so many trackballs on recent phones. I was definately Impressed so far by what I've seen, Keep it Up Samsung!
seriously whats the point of that video. He spends the first minute and a half spinning the thing around in his hands and he only touches the touchscreen once. It is a touch android handset right? Am I missing something? Then just to piss me of he takes off the battery cover...to show us the battery. Cause I really care what that looks like.
For real.. it's got 1.5 lets see him type something on the soft keyboard.. sigh...
Why the heck can't any android device get over HVGA (480x320) resolution? Com on guys!
Gosh, why was he using that D-Pad so much, I wanted to see how good a the Samsung capacitive screen is.
Lovely phone however, all the features (bar zenon flash) in a nice small package.
I'm just excited to see a non-HTC Android set that's legit. =)
Same here.. I was waiting to see something on the touch screen.....WOW, he barely touched it

Does this phone have the multitouch capability like the iPhone?
