Android 1.5 already hitting T-Mobile G1s?

We'd kinda gotten used to the cold, hard reality of being teased with the promise of a Cupcake build on our retail G1s out in some distant, nondeterministic future that we may or may not be a part of -- but all of a sudden, it looks like we might've vaulted right past Cupcake. We've now received multiple tips this evening suggesting that T-Mobile may have started distributing Android 1.5 as an over-the-air update to G1 owners, which would bring customizable widgets, messaging enhancements, virtual keyboards, and UI tweaks (among many other goodies) to an eager public. Anyone out there seeing this?

P.S. - No, your eyes aren't deceiving you: these are little green pastries baked by T-Mobile. "We heard people wanted cupcakes," one representative told us.

I thought I replied again, but it looks like I didn't. Anyway, I went to take a picture of my Android to show I had 1.5, but then I saw that the model actually is a dev phone. So it was accidental shenanigans. I'm sorry internet, I'll try better next time. :-(

(On the plus side, I have a phone with Cupcake. Which I could take a picture of, if you want. It's just not so interesting...)

Your update will be coming mid month, it will be OTA and should start rolling out on the 13-15th time period. The update will include

Virtual Keyboard
Stereo Bluetooth support
Video capture and playback
Full spanish with predictive text

Still running build RC33. Went to Settings > About Phone > System Updates. Phone says "Your system is currently up to date."

T-Mobile better have something really really really exciting surprises in Cupcake. Otherwise, it will be a bit of a disappointment since we have already read about whats included in Cupckaeover and over and over for weeks and weeks and weeks.

C'mon T-Mobile. Make me excited again for buying G *freakin'*1.
