Nokia doesn't seem to play well with the US carriers. Your only option is probably going to be unlocked direct from Nokia. Unless the user interface is completely different than what it is in Nokia 5800, this phone is soon to be forgotten.

And what do you mean with "no smart dialing" and "needs to make easier to make phone calls"?

You can assign numeric keys to contacts, use voice dialing which works great with BT handsfrees, call from the call log or to the sender of a message. You can also call a number which is in the text of a SMS or mail and even look for numbers in the web browser. Searchs in the phone directory work with names, surnames and middle names.

Seriously, symbian phones have many issues, and the 5800 touchscreen interface a lot more, but call logs and dialing are not any of them.

It is universally known issue with Nseries phones and even the hardcore N-series fans wish for Nokia fix it but they are used to it as they mostly call only to their contacts Mobile phones.

about smart dialing. Blackberries, windows Mobiles, and almost all Sony Ericsson's dumb phones have the feature along with Nokia's E-series phones.
