Mysterious "Project Charlie" shows up in AT&T's system
Three SKUs for products called Charlie 1, Charlie 2, and Charlie 3 are now listed in AT&T's inventory system, all the with a helpful description of "Project Charlie." Unfortunately, PhoneArena's tipster has no idea what they might be, and neither do we. Our guess? 3G-enabled MacBook Airs personally saved from destruction by Charlie Rose.

my guess, iphone is alpha, iphone 3g is beta, next iphone is charlie with 3 versions maybe color, memory size differences or something
Maybe the persistent multiple iPhones rumor will pan out to some extent after all.
Its not a Macbook because its RSS looking at only cellphones through at&t. Its a phone...or three of them
Oh yeah, it's definitely not an MBA - just joking around!
That's the BestBuy RSS system. The prices listed by each of the "projects" is $999.99, but that could definitely still change.
could the charlie be the new LG phone that got shipped out today?
Purely just speculation but since there have already been two releases of iphones now: alpha and bravo. Charlie makes sense as the third release of devices.
Could it be the New Motorola Android phones?
Sweet! Time to get our collective expectations up way higher than any product can possibly attain!
Its really not that much of a mystery for starters that is a screen shot of Best Buy's RSS system(I should know I work there) not AT&T secondly and this is speculation alpha=iphone, bravo=iphone 3g, charlie=new iphone. And as for the three skus think about it its going to be 1 black 16gb, 1 black 32gb, 1 white 32gb........case closed
Im a consultant for Best Buy Mobile. The picture there is of our RSS system under ATT handsets the project charlie 1,2, and 3 have been on there for about a month now with the in stock date being 6/1/09. My att rep hinted that it is the new iphone and it goes with the same date she had heard.
surely its an iphone, what else CAN it be that they would "hide"
I saw those too and didn't think anything of them. They most likely are the new iPhones, but it's odd corp. would put them in the system already.
