New York Times: Palm Pre to launch in the first week of June
Guys, guess what? The Palm Pre is really, seriously, totally coming out, like, super soon. How soon? Well the New York Times, one of the most respected newspapers of our age, claims The Smartphone That Saved Palm (despite their denials) is due in the first week of June, which means the countdown to destruction just got a little shorter. Unless the Times is making stuff up. And let's be honest -- at this point, maybe they are. We can say this, however, the Pre is due, and it's due soon, and if we don't see it before WWDC, we'll be pretty surprised. Our call? We've got a sneaking suspicion that all this speculation will be over before you know it. Like, tomorrow.

New York Times, one of the most respected newspapers of our age! NYTimes is a rag!!!
Agreed, NY Times is a steaming pile of fubar.
New York Times a rag? You've obviously never read the Daily Sport in England! Bum wiping is too good for it!
Anyway roll on the Pre!
kevinniven,
Is that you Ann? I knew it. Well it's me, Sean. Let me know when you can come on the show again. You have my number.
Yeah I read that too this morning but I couldn't help but wonder if it was speculation as they went on to talk about the rumored 3rd gen iPhone, not sure why they would have such knowledge on the Pre release date before Palm announces it.
But hey, I'm all ready for the first week of June!
The New York Times hasn't been respected in ages, with that said im so hyped for the Pre
YAWN! im over the pre. if it had been released in late april or early may it would have had a chance, but now all chance of success is GONE. i stopped anticipating this device and just bought a blackberry bold, couldn't be happier!
Hey Engadget: Please combine all your comments instead of posting an article on 2 different sites and then having 2 different comment sections.
Agreed, puh-weeze Engadget?
Please PLEASE let there be a tethering app for this device (or a PDAnet port). I rarely tether, once every month maybe, so it doesn't make sense to get a tethering plan, but it is urgently needed at those times. That's really the one reason why I'd never leave WindowsMobile.
Ditto. And I want to stick with my SERO.
I am going to use Nidesoft Palm Video Converter to convert video and I want to animation, to give me more pleasure.Oh,This video converter is from here:
