Rogers to sell HTC Dream, Magic for $199.99 on contract

Canadians have had to wait quite a while to get their first official taste of Android, and even longer to know how much it'd cost, but it looks like that last detail has now finally been cleared up. According to The Boy Genius Report, Rogers will be asking the ever popular $199.99 for both the HTC Dream and HTC Magic on a three-year contract when they launch on June 2nd, or a hefty $649.99 off-contract. As Boy Genius points out, that's actually $100 more than the previously rumored off-contract price, which briefly spurred talk of a too-good-to-be-true $149.99 on-contract price.

Rogers 1 - T Mobile Fail ! not one, but 2 Android phones ! Must be Nice ! lol
As far as I see, T-Mobile will also be getting the HTC Magic later on this year. SO they will also have both phones as well.
The sad part is... it will probably be cheaper, sorry "less expensive" than what Rogers is.
And probably not with a three-year contract... Seriously Canada, it's time for a fucking change.
Yea the Htc Magic is coming to T Mobile, sometime, but look at rogers got it 1st and they got 2 phones, well so does Europe and we only have one Android phone. And Tmo was the 1st to Release the G1/dream
Is nobody else getting this? Two Android phones coming to Rogers means two importable/unlockable Android options for AT&T customers that work on the +$15/month (+$10/month if you're on a family plan) data option. Remember, AT&T's HSDPA is on the 850 and 1900 bands, same as Rogers.
It's going to be cheaper for AT&T customers to be Android users than it is for T-Mobile USA customers.
I'm planning to snag one of these off of eBay as soon as the price looks good. My buddies and I are setting up a five-line AT&T family plan with an employer discount and finally dropping our five SERO lines. :)
