HTC Dash 3G for T-Mobile gets pictured
If you're longing desperately for that T-Mobile Dash replacement, you don't have that much longer to wait, because the Maple / S522 / Snap / Dash 3G (and yes, sadly, those are all pretty much synonyms) is right around the corner. All signs point to a release this summer -- and we're now seeing the phone for the very first time in T-Mobile branding, which is a good sign as far as we're concerned. We've had chances to play with the unbranded Snap in the past, and while it's definitely a great looking handset in the flesh, it doesn't typically photograph well; strangely, we're digging this fuzzy, dirty, out-of-perspective shot as-is. Something about the T-Mobile logo just does it for us, we guess?

This is obviously not aimed at the iPhone prosumer market, but I think it would make a great device for corporate users.
T-Mobile is really starting to push their UMA solution to big businesses so hopefully this works with UMA too
It would make no sense whatsoever for T-Mobile to NOT have the Dash 3G UMA-compatible, IMO. This is a nice looking device and something that will compliment the Touch Pro2 nicely.
How is this the Dash 3G? The Dash was just the HTC Excalibur and then HTC released the Cavalier, which was Dash, updated with better features and 3G added. Given it wasn't T-Mo 1700 3G, but still. Just because T MO is behind the ball doesnt mean they have to get it wrong.
Because the term "Dash" is specific to T-Mobile. Since the HTC Snap is their second WinMo phone in this form factor, it is fitting that it be named the Dash 3G.
