T-Mobile teasing "bright lights" for June 28
T-Mobile employees were greeted this week with a mysterious image in their inboxes promising "bright lights" coming on June 28. We really haven't the foggiest what that could mean, but it does line up nicely both with rumors that the company is getting ready for a branding realignment and also with the imminent release of the Magic / myTouch 3G, especially considering that all staff members are being required to complete some form of Google training by the 19th of this month. Any other juicy ideas?

Finally. I've been waiting to myTouch myself for a long time.
maybe this goes back to the old light ray vs particle debate. T-Mobile seems to think particle... a very small particle... maybe something to do with an... ion?
Hmmm well the Samsung i7500 is being terms the Galaxy in other parts of the world.
A galaxy has many stars.
Stars emit light.
Light is bright.
Therefor it is my conclusion that this event has to do with the Samsung i7500.
Laugh at my thought process now... we'll see who wins!
could it be the touch pro 2 [rhodium]? man i hope..
Ooh....pretty lights....
I have a eye out for that Samsung i7500, but my G1 would not like me for cheating on it.
the Samsung i7500 will be coming out on o2uk soon, it's on their future handsets release list for the end of june, early july
maybe its the Sony Ericsson C905?? (aka the CS8 on T-Mobile)... cause the "bright lights" could mean the xenon flash?? just an idea but probably not. we'll see :)
This is their Vegas expo. I heard about this several weeks ago, but there wasn't a firm date at the time. I had speculated that it would be before the July 1 launch of the Snap (AKA Dash 3G).
Bright Lights... Vegas... get it?
I'd rather they hit the 3g switch instead of the light switch in Richmond.
No doubt. I'm tired of living on the Edge. 3G is about 4 miles away from me. Waiting for my contract (due to my G1 purchase) to expire to look elsewhere. I was under the impression the 3G rollout would be quicker than this....
Bright Lights is not a new phone it is a new method to sales and service for retail store employees. i.e. approaching customers when they enter the store, creating total solutions for the customer, etc. Sorry to let you guys all down but it isn't a phone. It is a internal store meeting throughout the whole country to train the new sales methods. :-(
The training was due on the 2nd, and it was just some refreshers on how to do some basic tasks on the Android OS.
Is this t-mobile UK or are we talking US?
