I saw a Fios commercial the other day, showing off how their cable boxes and stream media from your computer, and in the fine print, there is an additional monthly charge for that? ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? Why the hell would anybody pay a monthly fee to watch and listen to their own content?
The additional monthly fee is because it requires a special Home Media DVR. It does not use the regular cable box or the regular DVR. The Home Media DVR also allows you to watch DVRed content on any cable box in your house.
