HTC Touch Pro2 now available to everyone on Vodafone UK

It'd originally been available to a random, totally select group of elite individuals, but availability of the HTC Touch Pro2 on Vodafone UK has now opened up to pretty much anyone who wants it. As is virtually always the case with European carriers, you can get this monster for as little as absolutely nothing depending on the contract and plan that you choose, so dive in and sign your life away for a couple years, won't you?

It's just crickets chirping stateside as we wait for the carriers to drop this more or less on schedule.

It must be a hard pill for the US carriers to swallow after HTC called them on their delayed Touch Pro release (or no TP at all for T-mobile). That 'leak' in January must have really hurt sales for the likes of sprint to be contemplating cranking the TP2 out before the end of June. You've got to start somewhere though, as HTC will just give another 'sneak' next January, so you may as well get as many sales now as possible.

In the UK 18month, then you can get if for free, depending on your contract.
