Looks like the first post-Pre-launch webOS update is now being pushed out -- Pre owners, get ready for 13MB of 1.0.3 awesome. We're getting a full list, but Palm just told us some of what's new includes better Exchange email support, faster Google calendar syncing, and a bunch of app improvements.

Wow. No Palm love with their releases...everyone flocking to the 3G S posts??
not me....waiting for the PRE or storm 2 at verizon...but I am impressed an update is out so fast....RIM would have taken a few months....
I'm interested to see what updates they're coming out with - by the time this phone gets to Verizon it's features should be nice and mature
Hopefully one of these updates addresses the bug where when you let the battery get too low it locks you out of the phone till you pull the battery out. That is really pissing off my wife.
I know! I hate that! Pull the battery out, then you still have to connect it to the charger to make it work again!!! So annoying!
;)
I'm wonder if and when one of these updates will lock out hackers.
cool. i went and tried out a Pre for the first time the other day in the Sprint store. i plan on getting one in a couple months or so, so i wanted to see if i liked it as much as i thought i would. it was a nice overall experience and in about 15 minutes of testing it out i was zipping though the OS like i owned the thing. it was a little sluggish at times but i think that may have to do with the demo app they had running on it (and the fact that there were like 15 open programs on it when i got to it). i'm hoping these quick updates will have it butter smooth by they time i finally get one.
another thing i noticed is that it's friggin tiny! and that i'm not a huge fan of the slider since the curve makes it hard to slide it open from the bottom of the phone. i ended up having to put my finger on the screen on the bottom part of the bubbled face to open it, but then stuff on the screen reacted to my touch. i'm sure i would get used to that though.
