Video: Nokia N97 gets a torture testing, goes great with milk
If the opinions of two star-crossed bloggers weren't enough to sway you firmly into either the "yea" or "nay" column regarding a Nokia N97 purchase, perhaps seeing how it fares after being dunked into a bowl of corn flakes will help you make up your mind. N97Geeks.com has gone the 'ol torture test route, including of a series of scratch attempts for the screen and the body as well, plus the aforementioned test where it became a part of "this complete breakfast." The result was an almost fully functional if slightly scuffed up handset that now has a non-working menu key and a wee bit of internal condensation, meaning you can probably get by without a screen protector or case if you hate buying accessories. But, for best results, keep this one clear of your Kellogg's.

I have yet to take the screen protector that came on my N97 off but after watching this video I feel comfortable putting the phone in my pocket with keys, change and other gadgets without a case.
Coming from the (ATT Fuze) WinMo 6.1 to S60 5th is a step backwards (in software) I must say but the hardware makes up for it. Carrying around over 40 Gigs of music on my phone with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a decent camera is well worth $757.
I haven't seen any reviews mention it but the sound quality coming out of this phone using a pair of Shure E2c is excellent!
haha...the site is down.
looks like the website n97geeks.com can't stand the stress test from all the traffic coming from engadgetmobile LOL.
http://www.NokiaN97Forum.com is a better discussion place if you are looking to talk about the N97
Sad ... Disturbing really, and yet I still watched them all.
