cool. this is what i always thought Android was supposed to be anyway. people kept saying "oh well i'm just going to run Android on such-and-such phone" but that really hasn't materialized for whatever reason (at least to the best of my knowledge). good to see it actually happening though, we certainly need more options in the way of smartphone OSes.
