SciPhone Dream G2 Android charger is best ever

One of our favorite intellectual property rips of recent months is without a doubt the SciPhone Dream G2 from China. Having completely missed the point of Google's open-source OS being, well, open-source and thus free for SciPhone's use, the company instead chose to hack the G2's "proprietory" OS to look like Android. The charger, however, built to look like the iconic Android mascot is pretty damn cute; enough so that the idea of paying $150 just to get our hands on the 100-240V USB charger has crossed our minds. but the phone itself sucks.... waste of money...

I love that they didn't put android on it, but devoted R&D time and money to imitating it, even though android is free.

HTML, i thought that at first too, but it would probably cost more in hardware to support android than making a crappy os on cheap slow hardware, least thats my guess. duse any one know the specks? like processors and stuff, could it even support android. if it could, couldn't you just flash it to android (i dont know if that is the right terminology) but i bet some one with any android knowledge could do it, if the hardware could support it, and if that could be dune that would be a nice price for a unlocked android phone. also do you think this "proprietory" OS would count as a smart phone on cheap networks?

This product is popular even though it's not a masterpiece. I have seen a preview of the new Android phones coming very soon from China. We will be all over all the new Android phones as soon as they come out.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!
I bought this phone may be 4 weeks ago and now I have a PROBLEM!
I has Java and I downloaded some Java games...And after installing 1 game(worms 2008) the screen got black, and than a vibration and it just reastarted by itself!!! If anybody nows something PLEASE HELP!!! May be it's a virus...I don't know...and I can't run ANY application!!!Even from English Applications...PLEASE HELP!!!

I just got the dream g2 with wifi from my grandfather and he lost the little book that came with it and i need the default password for the phone to do a master reset and to change the password. so is there any way to figure that out

Can I delete and replace the fake Android OS with the FREE OFFICIAL ANDROID OS? If somebody knows please tell me how to???
