Samsung Galaxy predictably coming to O2 UK
It's already being stocked by its German cousins, so it stands to reason that O2's British outpost would be looking to carry the mighty i7500 Galaxy from Samsung as well. Indeed, TechRadar is reporting that O2 UK has confirmed that the Android-powered OLED beast is on the way in August, though pricing is yet to be reported in any official capacity; for comparison's sake, O2 Germany is offering it for €69.99 (about $98) on contract, so we can certainly imagine the new launch coming somewhere in the same range. Then again, we can also imagine it being completely free on the right plan, in which case we're packing our bags and filing for our visas.

320x480? No thanks. I'm waiting for some wvga action.
Have you seen this AMOLED display? Check out this video as its compared to some of the other top smartphones and you can see how beautiful it is.

Android from Samsung? Is WinMo dead?
(I'm on Orange, UK)
Ok, if this really happens, then my mind is made up, and Hero is the only way for me.
Bloody shame, I'm really hating these exclusitivity deals, screw the iPhone for enthusing this concept to the Mobile Telecoms industry.
Ok, so there is not exclusitivity announcement yet, but if there is .. grrr.
Unfortunately, when it comes to exclusivity, I guess that means, whichever carrier is willing to put up with Apples demands, prices per unit, etc.
128meg or 192 - thats what I want to know...

It was stated on their facebook page that is has 192 MB of RAM for applications so we can assume that it has 288 MB of RAM just like the HTC Hero.
That's a relief. I've heard that it's 128MB from multiple sources. But if it's 288 (or even 192mb like the G1) everything should be nifty.
