There is definitely an appeal to this device for adults like us.

The guy doing the review is likely like my brother.... total Apple iPhone fanboy and refuses to give credit where credit is due. ;-)

I would have gone for the Hero, but its not available on Vodafone officially, and the 3rd party vendors who are selling it on Vodafone, are charging an arm and a leg to upgrade.

Having had a play about with the HTC Magic (myTouch 3G) and the HTC Hero, they are almost the same handsets, internally at least. The 3.5mm jack, the 5mp camera, and Sense UI on the Hero, wasn't enough to make me switch networks or phone number.

Also, every reviewer seems to have fallen in to the trap of comparing every new handset that comes on the market, to the iPhone. What is wrong with reviewing each new handset on its own merits, rather than looking for the fabled iPhone killer? ]]>Aug 1st 2009 10:04AM
