The hell with T-Mo US. I know it was FCC approved with AT&T bands, but can we (pretty please) get it?

Even so, if it does come to the US, T-Mo will probably delay it so much that another, better phone will be out (like how Hero is out and they just released the MyTouch/Ion). Where do the carriers get these horrible, unimaginative names? I'm getting well confused between all the "myTouchGooglemyG3" phones out there.

Google looked like they were behind a sensible naming policy with the G1 (which, in my mind, implied a G2 then a G3 etc - easy!) But then that got confused. Then the model names "Dream", "Magic" and "Hero" - easy, slightly cheesy and clear. The carriers then go and obfusicate them and wonder why people get confused.

The winning element of the iPhone was its clear brand that everyone recognised, even if the successors. If only t-Mobile could apply a similarly enduring and consistent (and not so childish-sounding) label to their high-end range..

Alexandicity

Comments on T-Mobile UK changes mind, dubs its Hero the G2 Touch

I'll just flash my G1 to a stable hero port most likely the Hero wont be on T-Mobile, and like someone stated earlier if it does it will already be outdated tech...

Eroded Fallacy

Comments on T-Mobile UK changes mind, dubs its Hero the G2 Touch

£40 month!
