Eugh. Where do the carriers get these horrible, unimaginative names? I'm getting well confused between all the "myTouchGooglemyG3" phones out there.
Google looked like they were behind a sensible naming policy with the G1 (which, in my mind, implied a G2 then a G3 etc - easy!) But then that got confused. Then the model names "Dream", "Magic" and "Hero" - easy, slightly cheesy and clear. The carriers then go and obfusicate them and wonder why people get confused.
The winning element of the iPhone was its clear brand that everyone recognised, even if the successors. If only t-Mobile could apply a similarly enduring and consistent (and not so childish-sounding) label to their high-end range..
