Altho when I had a M810 I was thinking that it was very smartphonish and that the line between dumbphone and smartphone was getting very blurry. Cus it reminded me a lot of the iPhone UI, grid patterned icons with different tabs. Using Opera Mini it browsed the internet awesome, I'd even use it over my G1 to browse sites. With Sprint Mobile Mail and the IM client it worked more reliably at pushing email than my G1 and having an enjoyable IM client unlike my G1s agravating one. I think the only problem with the BREW interfaced Instincts were the lack of apps. Shrug. I was surprised that I liked a full featured dumbphone over smartphone offerings like my G1, winmo handsets and the iPhone.

I guess my comment makes me sound very assholey but if you're not using a smartphone for what its designed for I don't understand the reason for having one. Status symbol or something? Cus it can't be just to have a touchscreen phone otherwise you wouldn't care if it had android on it.
