Has your Palm Pre learned to do the twist?

No, that's not a Blurrycam shot of a rumored Palm Pre follow-up with a rotating screen. It's actually one of the more extreme cases of the Palm Pre "twisting" right out of its shell, which, as far as we can tell, still seems to be a fairly rare occurrence. This particular Pre belongs to one Royer, who was apparently able to get it replaced without too much hassle, but other folks are also reporting some slight screen wobble, and even a few cracks appearing here and there. Somewhat interestingly, Royer says that the Sprint repair center he went to said they're not allowed to try to fix the Palm Pre, and are instead instructed to simply exchange it for a new one. So, has your Palm Pre learned any new moves it shouldn't have? Let us know in comments.

I don't know about that, but the Palm Pre girl haunts me, in my dreams.
Mine is on its way to this. The top shifts to the right about 3mm when closed...
I don't know, but I think I saw mine doing the Moonwalk the other day.
Mine does approximately this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Az36RREC4L0 which I gather is somewhat common.
Ya mine does the same thing, and it pisses me off just to know that it does this. But if it does slide completely off like the one in the pic above will they just give me a new one even though I dont have the phone insurance?
I hope everybody who was complaining about the keyboard not adjusting to landscape view enjoys this fix....
Exchange it for a new one if Palm tells them this is a defect.. which it has not. This guy is lucky there wasn't much hassle. I'm surprised they didn't send him to insurance. I wouldn't count on all replacements going so smoothly.
My was doing a little shimmy and shake and the technician told me "that's normal and to be expected". They wouldn't fix/replace it. I ported out and got an iPhone. Jerks.
You go girl.
Mine has a 1mm bit of play but nothing drastic like the pic above. I'm all good with mine.
Whoa!!!
I want Pre with a rotating screen now, that would be cooooool and the keyboard would be even more useful.
Mine is fine so far after a month's use. I baby mine though. BTW is the color of your main button silver or tan?
yeah... the oreo twist... kinda sucky... I have this issue on mine... and others do too
