BlackBerry 8530 naturally coming to Verizon
You know the saying "where there's an XX20 series BlackBerry, there's an XX30 series BlackBerry"? Of course you don't, because we just made it up right this instant. But you know the saying now, and you should commit it to memory, because it's generally true. To that end, it makes sense that 8520 that's about to launch on T-Mobile and Vodafone would have a corporate cousin in the 8530, which -- you guessed it -- is basically destined to become RIM's new low-end CDMA QWERTY offering. Boy Genius Report has it pegged for a QVGA display, EV-DO, BlackBerry OS 5.0, and a 2 megapixel camera; coming hot off the Tour we can't say we're that excited, but we're sure it'll find a home in plenty of briefcases, especially considering that it'll apparently have the WiFi -- which, if true, means Verizon's making good on its promise.

wait wht? 8530? woulndt that be the curve 2? or would big red ever get the curve 2 ?
verizon should get the curve 2 not a low end bbr? we want features look's not a cheap bbr
come on! bring the curve 2 allready!
Glad it's naturally coming to Verizon. Wouldn't want it coming with any artificial sweeteners, preservatives or anything.
Organic Blackberries FTW.
Why, oh WHY am I stuck with AT&T where I live? The most overpriced and feature-bereft phones, the most expensive plans, and the least reliable service. I must have beat up Alexander Graham Bell in a previous life.
Why does it say CDMA if it's going to Verizon?
Because thats the network verizon works on
