i love my instinct (M800) i hope this phone is all of that and more... especially the two batteries, that sold me!
Unfortunately I wouldn't count on it, the s30 was virtually identical to the original yet had no extra battery, battery charger, leather case, and the SD card went from 2GB to 1GB. Probably a decent phone but don't count on the nice extra perks like the original.
Sweet! Man I've been waiting for this phone forever. Since may. I'm glad to see it in a live picture. I wish it wasn't blurry. Either way I'm getting this launch day. Can't wait!
I for one wont be jumping on board for this one. It will likely be more of the same (m800/m810) with a few additional features. Bring on the Sprint HTC Hero!
Ya I hear ya. I however hope it is just more of the same with additional features. Cus I already have a G1 as my work phone. I don't really need more Android in my life. I'm actually a fan of touchscreen dumbphones. I think they do a better job at being a phone than smartphones. Seems to me most smartphones fall short on being good phones, they are running such a tedious OS that it bogs down the mundane functions. What is funny is back when I had a S30 I would use it over my G1 for internet browsing. Using Opera Mini on there was a more enjoyable experience than using the G1 and its built in browser. I also liked that the S30s touchscreen was more significantly more accurate than the G1s. Altho the G1 does a better job at being intertwined with the google search engine. Android on the G1 is a test of patience sometimes, where the S30 was fast all the time, it didn't have applications to slow it down(Got lemons, make lemonade?). :) Also I really like the Instincts BREW OS. Odd how I loved the Instinct S30 so much. Maybe I'm crazy.
To each his own, everyones needs are different. My need right now for my personal phone is a nice touchscreen dumbphone. My two S30s I tried had reception problems at the office but so did a Rant I tried after that so really I dont think its the hardwares problem anymore, the tower up in that area just sucks. So onto the S50!!! This one I wont return when it has bad reception at my office.
I also LOVED my S30 but it had major reception problems. Now I'm having problems with my Pre...I don't believe Palm built this phone to last very long. A little over two months and its about to do the oreo twist, charging port broke, screen cracked, and battery sucks. The only good thing about the phone is WebOS.
I'm more interested in the InstinctQ. Nice looking phone though.
