UK to get Samsung Galaxy next week?
Of course, it has to happen sooner or later -- but how about "any day now?" According to Register Hardware (which sure seems to hear a lot of "stuff," you know, from "people who know stuff") a "handful" of O2 store employees have reported seeing the Samsung Galaxy on the chain's stock management system, which lists it as arriving in stores "next week." In addition, while not listed on O2's website, you can filter for a search for i7500 accessories, although that doesn't really tell us anything we don't already know. No price yet, or even solid confirmation that this is happening, but you'll get all the glorious facts as soon as we do. Promise.

Seriously, dont get your hopes up. O2 has been messing us around for over a month now, see here: http://forum.o2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=24530&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
Do yourself a favour and buy an HTC Hero.
When the heck is this coming to the states??!!!
Haha. I cannot believe this phone isn't available in US and west EUrope :)
I've bought it one week ago and i live in Serbia (Telenor mobile network).
Got 5 GB/month included so it's online all the time. Install and test 50 apps from android market per day.
Phone is awesome. It really is. There are few things that drive me nuts though. (maybe there is a solution but i haven't found it yet).
1. Cannot find way to remove app shortcut from main menu. When i add shortcut to one of 3 virtual desktops, i want it to be removed from main menu (either automatically or manually and i'll be satisfied). Main menu got cluttered after all those installs.
2. When typing text messages (sms) i'd like to use big touch qwerty as in 5800 my sister uses (she can choose bigger or smaller one). There are apps that use the big one so i guess this should be possible.
3. Autolock. Cant find option to make it have longer pause. It locks too often.
4. No (digital) zoom while taking photos. Wtf.
(I also carry Nokia E61 that has physical qwerty)
