Verizon ponies up to Google for premature Samsung Rogue ad
If you want to get in on the Glyde's successor in the next few months, odds are good you'll be asking for the Rogue when you mosey into the store. Actually, the odds are virtually 100 percent now that Verizon has kicked off the Rogue's advertising campaign -- despite the fact that the phone is yet to be announced. Whoopsie! If we had to guess, this is a sign that the phone's announcement is imminent; last we'd heard it was on track for an August 23 launch, so we could definitely imagine a press release coming this week.

i hope this means they will anounce the release of the chocolate bl40 too since they were both on track for august 23
I saw the same thing with the Samsung Omnia II, but now the link is gone too. Hopefully the Omnia II had the august 23 release date too.
I've been looking forward to this phone! My old LG VX-8300 is starting to get a little bit rough! :)
BUT! If they release that gorgeous BL40 over here, I may have to think twice about the Samsung. I really do like LG's phones..
Still using a VX-8300?!jeez
Wish the link to phone.verizon.com didnt 404
Quick question... What is that website that is like a test page for verizon wireless that has like a phone release a week before it releases. Its like (word here).vzw.com

Good thing they didn't go with the Glyde2. The first one was utter garbage.
