When are we going to see an Android phone that has some new hardware specs? The Motorola spec leaks are pretty boring at 528Mhz Qualcomm CPU, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 16GB SD support, etc. The only thing mildly interesting is that in the coming few months we may finally see Android on several carriers in the US. Too bad none of them offer hardware advantages over what has been out for quite a while.
I guess Android hopefuls will have to assume software improvements will keep their phones from becoming outdated during the sure to be required 2 year deal. Considering the hardware will be at least 1 year old on the day of purchase I find this a hard pill to swallow.
I second that notion. As much as I am happy someone else is finally releasing a new Android Mobile, I wish someone would talk to the people who made the iPhone processor, and release a Android Processor that is worthy.
Those are the specs for the low end Moto Android phone but the Sholes is supposed to be more powerful:
